We’ve been living on the road in and around Europe since 2018. Our long-term travel started when we sold our home in the United Kingdom as we were both nearing 50, and we started traveling in a motorhome.
We graduated to an overland truck which we built ourselves, and now split our time between our off-grid house in Spain, our overland truck, and more conventional travel when we want to explore further afield.
We sustain our travel lifetsyle through this website, our YouTube channel, and social media. We’re self-taught bloggers and vloggers who didn’t know the technical side of running a digital business when we started.
We’re proof that if you want a travel life, anything is possible.

How to Stay in Europe for Longer Than 90 Days: A Complete Guide for British Travellers
For British travellers planning a long European road trip, the Schengen 90/180 rule can feel painfully restrictive. Ninety days sounds generous when you are booking a two-week holiday. It is also surprisingly easy to misunderstand. The rule does not give you three months in every Schengen country, and your allowance…
How Remote Work and the Internet Are Redefining Nomadic Living
Digital nomadism used to sound like a niche internet fantasy, usually involving a laptop, a beach bar, and a suspiciously stable freelance income. Now it’s far more mainstream. Remote and hybrid work have become a lasting part of working life, and in the UK that shift has been reinforced by the legal right for employees to request flexible working from day one of a job. At the same time, hybrid work remains common across Great…

But there are certain decisions around full-time travel and nomadic life that quietly lock in cost, complexity, or constraints for years. They don’t always feel dramatic when you make them, but they’re much harder to unwind later. This isn’t about being cautious for the sake of…
The Questions We’d Ask Before Starting Full-Time Travel Again
When people imagine full-time travel, they often focus on destinations, vehicles, or how they’ll fund it. Those things matter, but they’re rarely where plans succeed or fail. If we were starting again, the questions we’d ask ourselves wouldn’t be about where to go first or what setup to choose. They’d be about sustainability, trade-offs, and how this life would actually work once the novelty wore off. These are the kinds of questions that only really…
