Hiking Sentier du Littoral, Bidart, Aquitaine
A gorgeous undulating coastal hike from the charming little town of Bidart, to Saint-Jean-de-Luz. You start at parking Erretagia (towards the bottom of the car park on the left hand side), the route is clearly marked.
You will pass through a variety if open coastal paths, wooded sections and beach paths. There are some short steep sections but this is a mainly gently undulating route and easy underfoot making it ideal for families.
There are spectacular sea views and on a clear day you can see the peak of La Rhune. We did the whole route with only a quick sandwich break, but it would be tempting to stop along the way for a dip or a spot of sunbathing.
